“Tronix Tuesdays” debuts at Park Avenue!

On December 7th Tronix Team kicked-off its new “Tronix Tuesdays” program.  This FREE drop-in class will meet weekly on Tuesday nights throughout the school year from 6:00pm-7:30pm at Park Avenue Youth & Family Services (3400 Park Ave. S.).

Students from 3rd-8th grade are invited to attend Tronix Tuesdays and participate in fun, hands-on science and engineering projects.

Since December 7th was part of “Computer Science Week,” our first class was all about just that.  We headed to our Computer Learning Center and created short animations using a computer science program for kids called Scratch.  In the end, we showcased everyone’s final projects on the big screen.  You can view everyone’s project HERE and see Destiny’s story below in photos.

Destiny creates her animation with the help of Tronix Team instructor Leah.
